Admittedly I've only ever been there when drunk - but this place has been providing the tastiest late night chicken burgers for years ! Open until the early hours it has been a welcoming stop off on the way home from a pub/club far too many a time.
(I'm sure it's very nice in the day too !) -

I'm not sure what it is, but there is something that sets Cheeky Chicken apart from the rest of the fried chicken world, but it is undeniable that there is something different about their chicken. Something in their particular blend of spices that just adds that little bit of extra tastiness.
I have even been known to go out of my way to come here for my late night snack needs, rather than simply filling up in the nearest takeaway. And since I only buy late night snack food when drunk, that's a pretty big compliment to the place. Ok, it's hardly gourmet, but in the world of Brighton fried chicken, Cheeky Chicken is king. -

I have seen a few bad reviews of this place, unfortunately I read these after my visit Cheeky Chicken!
I popped in to this place the other night after my regular Kebab House was closed. What a mistake. I ordered a Chicken Kebab. What I got when I unwrapped it when I got home was an inedible mess of the slimiest greasiest chicken I have ever seen in a wrap! It was so greasy it left a huge puddle over my kitchen worktop! I chucked it in the bin! I will not be returning. -

Selling pizzas, Kebabs, Fried Chicken, burgers and chips Cheeky Chicken is a veritable one-stop shop for all your late night munchy needs. Like many other places on Preston Street they have an ongoing 'buy one get one free' deal on pizzas, which is great if you're staggering back from town in a group. Prices are reasonable and everything is cooked well. It'll certainly satisfy a hungry tummy or two.

I am not to keen on the late night Doner kebab, sure its greasy and good, but its hardly the greatest thing that people can come up with for a late night snack, its authenticity or creativity is lacking a bit - plus the saltiness may keep you going for the night but it doesn't make you feel any better in the morning, better eat well before you go out for that. As far as I am concerned the Shish chicken or lamb has always been far superior to the Doner and also the fried chicken, this place is no exception. Sorry to be a spoil sport but I just don't buy it.
